Adobe Reader 6.0.1 -> 6.0.2

Hi,

ich würde gerne mein Adobe 6.0.1 Paket auf 6.0.2 updaten.

Leider finde ich auf der Adobe Seite kein MSP um mein MSI Paket zu patchen.

Kann ich ein MSI File (ich habe das entsprechende update MSI Paket aus 'Acro-Reader_6.0.2_Update.exe' 'extrahiert') in ein MSP umwandeln?

Gibt es einen speziellen Trick wie ich MSI Files mit 'MSI Files' patchen kann? Confused

falls du zwei msi pakete hast, dann kannst du mit z.b. wise package studio das delta als msp abspeichern. Cool

msi's koennen nur mit msp's gepatched werden. falls du nur zwei msi dateien und kein msp hast, dann bleibt dir nur die vorherige deinstallation des alten pakets... Sad

Damit kann ich dann ev. begründen das wir das unbedingt brauchen… Cool

Das Kranke ist, dass das Update Paket das 6.0.1. voraussetzt!
Theoretisch müsste das update MSI also alle Infos enthalten die ein MSP auch mitbringt oder?

Zumindest sollte es für Adobe kein Problem sein auch ein entsprechendes MSP zur Verfügung zu stellen. Das scheint es aber nicht zu geben. Oder bin ich nur zu Blind um dieses zu finden… Rolling Eyes

Hi,

the Acrobat 6.0.1 is an MSI. Adobe ships only a MST with some additional files to update the reader to 6.0.2.
You can download the full installation of 6.0.2 and extract the files. simply add the transform to the MSI and you'll get the 6.0.2

where you have downloaded the full version of 6.0.2?
I only find 6.0.1 und the Installshield update exe.

Unfortunately I do not find the MST you mentioned either.
