Zum Beispiel bei XP Rollouts oder bei Umstellungen von NT auf 2000 müssen oftmals auch die Präfixe in den ADS-Gruppen entsprechend angepasst (umgeändert) oder umbenannt werden.

Dafür kann man verschiedene Scripting-Verfahren einsetzen, eine Möglichkeit dies mit WinRobots zu erledigen gibt es hier:

ADS-Präfixe umändern - Skripting Beispiel.

Der Unterschied zum objektorientierten Ansatz ist, dass man bei der Vorgehensweise "über die Oberfläche" nur wissen muss, wie man es "von Hand" machen würde.
Kenntnisse über Object-Schnittstellen etc. sind dann nicht erforderlich.
