Microsoft hat den Anbieter von Anti-Spyware-Software und Internet-Sicherheits-Produkten Giant Company Software Inc. gekauft. Das gibt das Redmonder Unternehmen heute bekannt. Microsoft will das geistige Eigentum und die Technik des Unternehmens nutzen, um Windows-Nutzer mit Werkzeugen zum besseren Schutz vor schädlicher Software auszustatten. Außerdem sollen Giant-Fachkräfte Microsoft bei der Arbeit für mehr Sicherheit unterstützen.
