Real Alternative Repacking

Hi Guys,

I apologise for my lack of German in advance but I could not find another site which dealt with this subject.

I am attempting to repack Real Alternative 1.51.

I'm almost there but I can't look at the code any more as I'm going slightly nuts.

I'm using Advanced installer and regedit to gather the files. I'll happily share the .aip file with anyone who can help check what I've done. I'll even give you an equal credit. email me at tony@theidiot.co.uk and I'll send the file straight back.

I've switched from trying to repack Real Alternative to Real Enterprise.

Real Alternative is just too hacked to be useful in this way.

2000+ reg keys and files later I now have a working msi of Real Ent. but it refuses to deploy. Rsop.msc reports, rather unhelpfully, that the deployment failed due to a Fatal Error.

The msi works perfectly if I run it locally. I can provide both the Advanced Installer (http://www.advancedinstaller.com/) .aip file and the source registry keys and files if you can help.

I'm attempting to deploy this on Windows Server 2003 R2 using a GPO to WinXP Pro destops.

I can't see why this should fail. I'm going to try to enable verbose logging, but any insights would be very much appreciated.
